2024 has been a top-tier year in free agency across wrestling. Several top names have jumped from one promotion to another, and it seems like there are more on the way. Next year has the potential to continue that trend and one name has already openly discussed when her contract ends. Jordynne Grace revealed that her TNA contract is set to end in January, and she’s a performer that WWE must move mountains to sign.

“I am under [TNA] contract until January of this upcoming year [2025],” Grace said while speaking with Matt Morgan on Gigantic Pop. “It’s coming up.”

Grace would be a massive signing for any organization to bring in. She’s a beloved figure in women’s wrestling, both by her peers backstage and the fans familiar with her work. She’s recently hit even more eyeballs thanks to her crossover appearances in WWE. First, it was the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, then a surprise stint in NXT where she challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.

WWE has put time into rebuilding its women’s division. This is especially apparent on NXT, where the women are consistently featured on the show, even appearing in more matches and segments on a weekly basis. Grace would be a massive signing to continue to build on that development.

Think about some of the matches that could happen with her on the roster. Grace versus the likes of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Bayley, and several others would turn heads. With more than a decade of experience and several championship reigns under her belt, she’s main event-ready. Her surprise appearance at both the Rumble and NXT was met with praise, leading to bigger things between the two companies. Grace wasn’t a complete unknown to fans, showing that her run atop TNA helped build her brand. She’d be a great signing for WWE to consider.

In the eyes of many, WWE has lost out on several of the biggest names in the 2024 free agency race. Names like Mercedes Mone, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada headed to All Elite Wrestling while WWE added individuals like Jacob Fatu, Ethan Page, and reportedly Giulia. Bringing in Jordynne Grace early in 2025 would be a big boost to what this team is doing with women’s wrestling.
