The "Last Time Is Now" Tournament is underway and the excitment is palpable. Zack Ryder made a surprise return to take on LA Knight during WWE SmackDown, and it looks like he's not the last surpise set for the tournament. Fightful Select reported on Monday that materials for Dolph Ziggler were produced, kicking off speculation that the man now known as Nic Nemeth.

"Fightful Select spoke with WWE sources who claimed that materials were produced in relation to Dolph Ziggler taking on Solo Sikoa on tonight's episode of Raw," Fightful outlined in the report delivered via email Monday afternoon.

Nemeth had a long and successful career in the WWE, initially debuting as a member of the Spirit Squad back in 2005. However, it would be nearly a decade before he'd be linked to John Cena and kick off a feud with the future Hall of Famer. By the time he was done with WWE, Nemeth would capture multiple championships, including the WWE Intercontinental Championship six times, the Tag Team Championship, the United States Championship two-times, a surprising run as the NXT Champion and capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship two times.

Nemeth found continued success outside of WWE as well. Since 2024 he's picked up multiple titles aroudn the world, including the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, the AAA Megas Championship and the Internet Championship. He's currently a part of TNA Wrestling where he's won gold with his brother, Ryan.

Dolph Ziggler is a fantastic performer who doesn't always get the credit for his abilities in the ring. He's had some great matches and moments, but was never truly positioned to be the top guy, even when he was champion. In the eyes of many, during his prime he could have competed with the likes of performers like AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, and Bryan Danielson.
