WrestleMania season is exciting for plenty of reasons, with the Hall of Fame always chief among them. This annual tradition, right before Mania, honors the talent from years past inside and outside of the squared circle. Listening to each inductee's stories and anecdotes is always a treat, as is spotting who among WWE's huge family of past and present talent is sitting in the crowd.
This year, WWE threw us a curveball. We normally have to wait until at least January for the Hall of Fame announcements to begin trickling out, but now we already know that Stephanie McMahon will enter the Hall of Fame in 2026. So, with one name already announced and others coming down the pike, now seems like a fun time to predict who might also be chosen for these honors.
1. John Cena
With his in-ring career wrapping up in December 2025, announcing Cena for the 2026 Hall of Fame feels like a no-brainer. Whether you love him or hate him, Cena has been arguably the most influential in-ring performer in WWE in the past two decades. That he hasn't received his flowers in the Hall of Fame yet is honestly pretty surprising.
It's easy to envision Cena going on as the last inductee of the night so he could have plenty of time to talk about his favorite moments of his long and storied career. As for who could induct him, Kurt Angle seems like a natural choice. Randy Orton would also be an interesting pick, considering how the two practically came up together and have had many classic in-ring battles.
2. Dave Batista
Batista is another name that seems like a shoe-in for a Hall of Fame induction, and WWE agrees. They've tried to induct the mega star multiple times between 2020 and 2023, but each time, his filming schedule conflicted with the Hall of Fame ceremony.
That's why it seems like only a matter of time before Batista finally gets in. Could 2026 finally be the year? That all depends on Dave's filming schedule, as always. He's a busy guy, after all. If he does make it in 2026, Triple H would be an excellent option for inducting him (if he isn't too busy inducting Stephanie, of course).
Orton is again a good option here, and who knows? Maybe Ric Flair will make an appearance at next year's Hall of Fame to honor Batista. Either way, this induction is a matter of when, not if.
3. Chyna
Sure, this is Stephanie's year in the spotlight, and so this is a bit of a long shot, but if Steph is willing to give away some of the attention, 2026 would be the perfect year to induct Chyna. The Ninth Wonder of the World is the only member of DX to dodge being inducted.
Of course, Chyna has had a bit of a tough history with the WWE, being embroiled in the real-life affair between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and doing wrestling-related adult entertainment years after her time in the squared circle came to an end.
Still, plenty of wrestlers have made bad decisions that have been forgiven, and none of hers are enough reason to continue denying Joanie Lauer her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame. Of course, if WWE wants to play it safe this year, they can always induct Mickie James instead.
Throughout the 2010s and 2020s, so many stars have been inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame. The three names listed above definitely deserve their time in the spotlight, with Cena feeling the most like a must. Time will tell how many of these beloved Superstars get their names added to esteemed annals of the Hall of Fame, but hopefully it's all of them sooner than later.
