The May 27 episode of WWE NXT was packed with wild action and outcomes. Both Stephanie Vaquer and Ricky Starks dropped their titles, causing speculation that they are heading to the main roster. But they weren’t the only ones included in the rumors, generating buzz that there should be some interesting roster shifts coming to WWE Monday Night Raw and SmackDown soon.

The night opened with Ricky Saints taking on Ethan Page in what was a violent match. Page attacked Saints’s neck, finishing him off in just under 13 minutes to take the NXT North American Title. The title scene quickly moved past Saints as just moments latter Page was back in the ring to set up his first title defense at Worlds Collide, where he’ll take on Laredo Kid, Rey Fenix, and Je’Von Evans. No mention or sight of Saints receiving a rematch in that segment.

The huge surprise came later in the night when Jacy Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer. This seemed like the typical match where the babyface would find a way to overcome the numbers game. The story with Fatal Influence seemed to point toward the idea that the group was about to split, with all three women yelling and pushing each other during the match. However, Fallon Henley’s interference opened the door for Jayne to get the victory, ending Vaquer’s WWE NXT Women’s Championship title reign at just 77 days.

Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace expected to join the main roster

Fans were shocked that the night ended with such an upheaval in the NXT title picture. It wasn’t long before many wondered if this meant these names are heading to the main roster. But they weren’t the only ones mentioned.

Jordynne Grace, who wasn’t on the May 27 episode, is now also rumored to be heading to the main roster. Grace was last seen at NXT Battleground, where Vaquer defeated her.

The initial rumors are that Vaquer will head to Monday Night Raw, while SmackDown gets Grace. These are two big moves on the roster, and you can see the four top names in the NXT women’s division head to the main roster shows.

The initial response wondered if the NXT women’s division would be able to recover from losing four top names within a month, but this division is still deep with young, albeit strong talent. Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Fallon Henley, Zaria, Lash Legend, and others are ready to step into the main event roles and be the next up to face Jacy Jayne. Plus, this would be a great time to move Kylie Rae into a premier spot on the brand. The NXT women’s division will be fine.

What’s next for Ricky Saints?

Fans were equally surprised that Saints dropped the NXT North American Championship. While it was cool to see him in NXT, Saints was more than ready for the main roster the moment he stepped into the company. His name wasn’t mentioned among the potential call-ups, but it would make sense to see him on either show. Saints with a main roster presentation would be the true test to see if all the excitement about him in AEW and since moving to WWE was valid. And it’s a challenge that he’s ready to step up to meet.
