Sareee is one of the best wrestlers in the world today, and she’s one step closer to competing “where the best wrestle.” Sareee’s US excursion started with her and Alex Windor taking on Billie Starkz and Diamante during the October 1 taping of Ring of Honor. Now, it looks like she will not have to look far to find her next title challenger.

Windsor took to social media to offer a challenge to Saree, setting up a match between the two that will air during the October 9 episode of the show.

“Sareee, firstly, I want to say how much of a privilege it was tagging with you on Ring of Honor. But let’s not forget, you are the current IWGP Women’s Champion," Windsor said via a social media video. "Not to toot my own horn, I recently challenged for that championship against Syuri, and although I did not win, to say that I challenged for such a prestigious championship is something to be mentioned.”

“When that match was announced in STARDOM, all you had to say is ‘who is she?’ So, what better way to answer that question than to challenge you for your IWGP Championship.”

Windsor has become a popular member of the ROH and AEW rosters. She’s recently had matches against top names like Mercedes Mone and ATHENA, while teaming with Toni Storm. It says a lot about the perception of her in the company to slot her into such a major match.

But the real question is, when will Sareee step into the AEW ring to take on some of the best women in the world. Think about the potential matches that could happen. Sareee versus the likes of Storm, Mone, ATHENA, Kris Statlander, Thekla, Queen Aminata, and several others immediately come to mind.

Sareee’s run in WWE left a lot to be imagined. She’s hit an impressive stride since leaving the company. Now is the perfect time to bring her back to North America via Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling to remind the audience outside of Japan that she’s a much better performer than WWE would have ever allowed her to showcase.
