After 35 days as the Women's World Champion, Naomi vacated the title this week on Raw on Netflix. After announcing her pregnancy with 'Baby Uso' in front of a supportive Philadelphia crowd, there will soon be a new Women's World Champion. With the title being vacated, it creates ample opportunities for many women on the WWE roster to be crowned the new champion.
There are three women that currently appear to be in the title picture. Those three are Stephanie Vaquer, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley. Sky and Ripley are arguably two of the biggest babyfaces in the entire women's division, so they are the names that have been thrown out the most on social media. Rightfully so, as both are absolute stars of the company and make sense to hold the title at any time. They have their own unique reasons why they should be the next champion, but ultimately who will be the next Women's World Champion?
Stephanie Vaquer Should Be The Front Runner To Win The Women's World Title

Stephanie Vaquer is scheduled to have her shot at the title at Clash in Paris coming up on August 31st. After earning her opportunity for a title shot at Evolution last month, she has to be the frontrunner to land the championship. Although she was expected to face Naomi at the PLE, the match will look a whole lot different now. More than likely, it'll be a triple threat to decide the new title holder.
Since signing with WWE last year, Vaquer aka "La Primera" has wasted no time becoming one of the top babyfaces in the company. Although she began on WWE NXT, she quickly became the NXT Women's North American Champion. Just to defeat Giulia a couple of weeks later to capture the NXT Women's Championship as well. Vaquer made history as the first and only woman to hold both titles at the same time and also would successfully defend both titles on the same night for a first time in history as well.
Her winning the Women's World title would solidify her name as an absolute star and transcend her to the top of the division. She's already well-known, but the chance to make push her to the face of Raw is right there. Obviously, it's unknown whether it was in the plans for Vaquer to dethrone Naomi at Clash in Paris, but if they weren't then it should be reconsidered. If it was already in the plans, then it's an easy decision for the company. But what if Vaquer doesn't win the title just yet. Who else could be the next champion?
Roxanne Perez Could Be A Darkhorse To Win The Women's World Title

The easy scenario for WWE would be to just give the title to Ripley or Sky again. If this happens, then it would indicate that Vaquer was never in the plans to win the title at Clash. Putting the title on an already established star would be the easy way out. But what if they decide to shake things up on Raw and create a new star/face of the division? While also enhancing a current storyline. WWE could do both simultaneously by having Roxanne Perez win the Women's World Championship.
Prior to Liv Morgan's injury, it seemed as if Perez was going to take control of the group with help from Finn Balor. Perez winning the title would feel rushed to some, but makes sense when you think of the storyline within the Judgement Day. Essentially, it's that karma always wins. Morgan "stole" Dominik Mysterio from Ripley, took her group from her and her title. Perez could do the same while Morgan is out with her injury to give Morgan her karma ane make her a babyface when she returns. If we've noticed anything with WWE programming, it's that they love repeating storylines -- especially when they work with the audience. Perez could be a darkhorse to watch as we wait for a new Women's World Champion to be crowned.
