When Randy Orton turned heel at SummerSlam 2013, there was a decent amount of potential there. From cashing in on a fan favorite in Daniel Bryan, to contributing to the set up of the ongoing Authority storyline, it was thought that he could stick once again as the top heel of the roster.

While Orton did have a lengthy run with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, his title reign was forgettable and his character grew stale. Since losing the title at WrestleMania XXX to Daniel Bryan, he has been thrown into feuds that have kept him in the background and made him insignificant.

A need for a change in character has been argued by many because of this. Fans may just get that sooner than later, according to the Wrestling News Observer.

"WWE is planning on turning Randy Orton babyface in the next 3-4 months."

This seems like it would be done in time for WrestleMania season. Who he would face, though, is something interesting to think about. Could he start a program with Triple H about being fed up with the Authority for all of these months? If that happens, where does this leave Batista, since he said that he wants HHH for his retirement match?

WrestleMania 31 will be upon us sooner than later and the rumors for the build up of it have only just begun.
