By Mike Smith
At Money in the Bank, The Usos put their tag title on the line against The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

The Usos have had a lot of dealings with The Wyatt Family in recent months. Harper and Rowan picked up some singles victories over Jimmy and Jey a few months ago, as it seemed like they were building to a shot at the title, but nothing ever came of it. Then, when John Cena was feuding with Bray Wyatt, The Usos would help him out when Harper and Rowan got involved.
Now, Harper and Rowan have their eyes set on The Usos, and those “nice, shiny things” known as the tag title belts.
Ever since The Usos and Harper and Rowan got seriously involved in Cena vs. Bray at Payback, the two teams have traded singles victories over the past couple of weeks, and The Usos have been mentioned in all of Harper’s promos, and most of Bray’s.
Daily DDT staff members Michael Dunlap, Alex Del Barrio, Benjamin Raven, Lance Augustine, Luther Fraser, and myself, Mike Smith, give their predictions for this match.
Michael’s Take: I think this match could do some foreshadowing for later in the night. If Harper and Rowan can take the titles off of The Usos, I think it’s a lock that Wyatt wins the championship as well, bringing all the gold to The Wyatt Family. The only problem is that The Usos seem to be catching on a little, so taking the titles off of them wouldn’t make sense right now. With a gun to my head, I’m saying that Rowan and Harper take the gold.
Alex’s Take: As long as we don’t have to listen to that ridiculous accordion music of the Wyatts’ again, I am definitely for a victory for these two monsters. In my opinion The Usos have gotten a little less interesting since winning the tag titles and I think they are due for a loss to a stronger and seemingly superior team. Harper has been incredible as of late and I think he is the star of The Wyatt Family duo. I think he will shine in this match and carry them to a tag title victory. I’d like to see a lantern to the skull bring them a victory, but heels don’t cheat anymore so it will probably be just a clean pinfall victory. Either way the Wyatts win the titles here
Benjamin’s Take: This match is going to be great and I’m really looking forward to it. The tag division has really improved over the last year and while it keeps going through ups and downs it remains strong. I think The Usos win this one with a rollup or distraction so we can see a rematch at SummerSlam. I wouldn’t be shocked if we had new champs, but I think The Usos survive for one more PPV as champs.
Lance’s Take: I like The Usos a whole lot. They remind me a lot of tag team wrestling of the past, and I feel they are rightfully tag team champions. I mean what other team in the company could be a potential feud and bring out the best in both teams? Enter Eric Rowan and Luke Harper. These monsters can hold there own in the ring, and they match up well against The Usos. High-flyers against powerhouses, this matchup should be a good one, and give The Usos awesome competition, until the impending clash with The Ascension occurs, in a big time potential tag team feud. The Usos win here, but not before being in a war.
Luther’s Take: As most of us can see, it’s looking like it’s set up for a Wyatt takeover, maybe not at MITB but in the near future. I think if Wyatt wins, so will Harper and Rowan or vice versa. The Usos are 2 of my favourite characters but they are obviously limited to tag competition, so logically thinking, I reckon they keep the titles for a bit longer.
Mike’s Take: The Usos and Harper and Rowan have had some really good matches. Harper, despite his size, matches up really well with The Usos and can match some of their high-flying moves. Rowan is the biggest liability in this match, but he has proven that, while he can’t do the things the other three guys in this match can, he knows how to wrestle with them. I’m thinking Harper and Rowan win here, but unlike some people have speculated, I don’t think it has any bearing on the world title match later in the night.
