Cashing in the Money in the Bank is a major moment and these are the top five cash-ins of all time.

For the first time, the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event will take place in London, England. With this year’s event approaching us this weekend, there are plenty of huge surprises expected to happen, in terms of who will be the Money in the Bank winners. Maybe the winners could cash in their briefcase on the same night, as it has occurred before. The Money in the Bank has made stars out of those who win the historic ladder matches. Numerous of the Money in the Bank cash-ins became memorable moments in the WWE. Here are the current top five Money in the Bank Cash Ins.

5) Liv Morgan

If there is someone who has faced extreme adversity in her career, it’s Liv Morgan. Starting as a member of The Riott Squad, all the way to becoming a fan favorite at the start of her singles run, she is someone who has shown that persistence is the key to success. Although Morgan wasn’t the first woman to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, she became the first woman to never hold a championship while winning the briefcase.

What also made Morgan’s cash-in memorable was she cashed in her briefcase on Ronda Rousey, who was SmackDown’s top babyface in the women’s division. Being the favorite to win the 2022 Women’s Money in the Bank and cashing in on the same night was a moment that Liv Morgan fans will never forget.

4) Big E

When the WWE Universe was sad to witness Big E split from The New Day after the 2020 Draft, Big E was left all alone on SmackDown where he had no choice but to find who he is and remind him what his sole purpose was when getting into the WWE. His singles run on SmackDown saw another Intercontinental Championship victory and a Money in the Bank win, that pushed his character as the beloved babyface that he is.

During this time, the world champions were Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. With the hope that Big E would challenge The Tribal Chief, he made a curveball by joining RAW to cash in on then-WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley. Big E made history by being the first African American wrestler to become WWE Champion by cashing in the briefcase. It was a win-win situation for Big E as he also got to reunite with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day.

3) The Miz

When WWE decided to create a Money in the Bank PLE, they decided to expand opportunities to multiple stars. For instance, the ladder match became an opportunity for RAW and SmackDown stars to chase their perspective championships. When The Miz became the winner, he made it known to WWE Universe that his cash-in would be unforgettable. The cash in Miz had was impactful as he defeated Randy Orton to close Monday Night RAW. Miz’s cash-in to become WWE Champion was a culmination of working his way to the top of the card as he was finally able to showcase his talents as a main-event player.

2) Edge

Besides being known as the first person to win the Money in the Bank and successfully cash it in, Edge is one of the only few stars to win the ladder match more than once. The first time Edge cashed in the briefcase, it was at John Cena’s expense. It was the second cash-in that proved Edge is the ultimate opportunist. Before the second cash-in, Edge won the briefcase by defeating a beaten-down Mr. Kennedy.

With the expectation of Edge cashing in again on then WWE Champion John Cena, Edge pulled a swerve by jumping to SmackDown and cashing in on one of SmackDown’s top stars, The Undertaker. It was the first time a Money in the Bank winner shifted to a different show and it was Edge’s first World Heavyweight Championship victory.

1) Seth “Freakin” Rollins

When Seth “Freakin’ Rollins joined The Authority in 2014, the rest of the future was written for him. Triple H took Seth to the promised land as he put an end to one of WWE’s most destructive factions, The Shield. When Seth did win the briefcase, he bid his time on when he would capitalize on winning the ultimate prize.

Without question, Seth kept his word as he became the WWE Champion when it was least expected from the WWE Universe. Typically the WrestleMania main event revolves around the Royal Rumble winner winning the championship. When Roman Reigns and then Brock Lesnar were both laid out on the mat, Seth pulled a strategic move by cashing in his briefcase in the middle of a championship match, which was something that had never happened before. Seth also made history as he became the first wrestler to cash in and become WWE Champion at WrestleMania.
