3. Austin Aries

Long considered one of, if not the best wrestler in the world, Austin Aries in a WWE ring would be a welcomed sight by a large portion of wrestling fans. Though he failed at an attempt to make the roster in 2011 via Tough Enough, WWE would be foolish to not consider him.
Though he doesn’t have the prototypical size that WWE once looked for, Aries is the complete package in terms of in-ring work and skills on the mic. His versatilely in both areas is also impressive, as he’s been able to work well as a heel and a face, and he’s been able to put on incredible matches with superstars from both the X-Division and heavyweights.
At 36 years old, I would say that it’s more than likely that he wouldn’t be involved in the main event scene but he could easily find himself a place in the upper-portion of the mid card, fighting the likes of Bad News Barrett, Sheamus, Albert Del Rio and a whole host of other matchups.
His attitude, much like Davey Richards’ of The Wolves, may be something that holds him back from landing in the WWE, but it’s safe to say that the company would be much more entertaining with the addition of a wrestler of Aries’ caliber.
