Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins – Lumberjack Stipulation

Since The Shield broke up in June, this rivalry has been the hottest thing WWE has had going for them. You throw in former partners with passionate hate for each other along with the Money in the Bank briefcase and you get a simple, yet terrific rivalry.

Ambrose has been stopping any of Rollins’ attempts at cashing in his briefcase and seems to appear out of nowhere. Rollins wants to prove how strong he is without Reigns and Ambrose (with assistance from The Authority).

It’s hard to choose a swerve for a match when these two have been on equal ground for two months. While the favorite would be Rollins at this point because he owns the MITB briefcase, seeing Ambrose win wouldn’t shock me either.

Rollins could find a way out of the match (during the match) in a stipulation that’s supposed to keep the wrestlers from leaving. He could get some assistance from the Director of Operations Kane, Triple H, and/or Randy Orton to break the wall of the wrestlers surrounding the ring and escape. Fans would be angry, but it would make a match at Night of Champions (possibly for the briefcase) the end of the feud and make fans crave their match-up even more. If you thought there was plenty of significance around their match for SummerSlam, imagine the hype around it next month. It is the last PPV as well before fans can re-new their WWE Network subscription too, as stated earlier.
