WWE SmackDown Review: Roman Reigns vs. The Miz

Overall Impression

Outside of the Ambrose-Cesaro match, this was a pretty bland episode of WWE SmackDown. Most of these matches were very short and didn’t require more than a segment to complete. I didn’t like that Harper and Rowan were defeated by two men who should be below them on the roster at this point in their careers in Mark Henry and Big Show. The night seemed to focus on the Rollins-Ambrose rivalry and the Intercontinental Championship battle.

Predictions

• Ziggler and Miz will put on a very good match at SummerSlam.
• Henry and Show will challenge The Usos for the Tag Team Championship in the pre-show.
• Triple H will make his way into SummerSlam like he did last year.
• Rollins will not cash in this Sunday.
