Sasha Banks vs. Bayley
Banks absolutely dominated this match, until Bayley pulled out a Belly-to-Bayley for the win.
Bayley defeats Banks via pinfall.
2 out of 5 stars – Not a badly worked match, just a questionably booked one. Bayley needs to look strong heading into her match with Charlotte at Takeover 2, and I don’t think they accomplished that here.
Bayley and Charlotte in-ring with Renee Young
Bayley talked about being 100% ready to achiever her dreams and become NXT Women’s Championship, but she was interrupted by Charlotte.
Charlotte told Bayley to give up, and do the smart thing by not even getting in the ring with Charlotte. It was at this time that Charlotte seamlessly told a guy in the crowd to shut up when she’s talking.
Bayley looked really intimidated when Charlotte came out, but she stood up for herself. When Charlotte told Bayley to stick to hugs, Bayley said she didn’t want a hug, and that she wanted the NXT Women’s Championship.
This was pretty good. Takeover 2 is setting up to be a very good show.
