Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt in a Steel Cage Match

The worst part about this match came early on, as Bray whipped Y2J into the corner opposite of the door, then tried to run and escape out the door. It was a weak escape attempt, and it made Bray look bad.

After that Y2J and Bray went back-and-forth in a brutal cage match, both coming close to escaping the cage, but not quite getting there.

Y2J had the match won at one point, but Luke Harper and Erick Rowan stood at the bottom of the cage and stopped Y2J from exiting. However, Y2J got his money’s worth, as he hit a crossbody from the top of the cage.

In the end, Y2J was close to escaping out the cage door, but Bray stopped him and climbed over him to get the win.

After the match, Harper relocked the cage door, trapping Y2J and Bray inside. Bray hit Sister Abigail and stood over Y2J.

4 out of 5 stars – Absolutely fantastic. This was easily the best match they had.

Kane, Seth Rollins, Triple H and Randy Orton backstage

Kane and Rollins were giddy over the match that Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho had to open Raw.

Triple H walked in and they talked about the match with him, and Triple H congratulated Kane for making a good decision, putting that match on first.

Orton walked in and mocked Kane and Rollins, saying he was the only person in the room who would be main eventing tonight. He asked for Triple H’s permission to do something to Roman Reigns that would make Rollins’ cinder block curb stomp on Dean Ambrose look weak. Triple H laughed him off and gave him permission.
