The WWE Survivor Series main event has five feuds merged into one match. Could those match-ups fill out most of the WWE TLC PPV card for next month?

More from Rumors

The Survivor Series main event for this Sunday is set up to be Team Cena (John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Big Show, and most likely Ryback) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Rusev, Mark Henry, Kane, and most likely Luke Harper). This five-on-five elimination match has been built around five feuds being mixed together for this contest, along with the possibility of The Authority losing power if they fail to win. However, could those five feuds make up most of the TLC PPV card next month?

  • John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – They faced each other earlier this month, but the finish was a disqualification.
  • Kane vs. Ryback – The Big Guy has faced Kane and Shellshocked him a few times, but has not pinned him clean yet. After Ryback’s stare down with Triple H, his feud with The Authority may just be starting.
  • Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper – WWE Intercontinental Championship – After what happened at the end of Monday Night Raw, this seems likely.
  • Rusev vs. Sheamus – WWE United States Championship – The Bulgarian Brute took the title from Sheamus on the WWE Network recently. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Celtic Warrior try to reclaim his title.
  • Big Show vs. Mark Henry – These two faced each other earlier in the month, but their finish was not conclusive.

The most interesting feud of the five may be Ryback’s with Kane. When the Big Guy eventually goes over the Director of Operations clean, he could turn his focus towards Triple H, following their stare-down on SmackDown.

The one match of the five that may not happen is Cena vs. Rollins because of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match that the leader of the Cenation has waiting for him. With Brock Lesnar scheduled to appear on Raw on December 8 (Six days before TLC), that could very well set up a match between the two. The Beast Incarnate is also going to be around for multiple dates before Royal Rumble, so he may not be defending his title until then.

While an argument can be made that this is somewhat lazy booking, it’s still logical since the way that this has been set up has been for these feuds to extend to TLC.

Will you be looking forward to the TLC PPV if these matches headline it.
