Report: Many Unhappy with WWE TLC Performance, Superstars “Mailed It In”
The locker room mood following last night’s WWE TLC show was not very good, with Superstars apparently not giving it their all.

Before the WWE TLC PPV last night, plenty of reports came out about how the WWE Superstars wanted to top the show that the NXT Superstars put on Thursday night during the NXT TakeOver: R Evolution special. So going into the show, the expectation would be that they would find a way to top them.
If you watched TLC, you saw that certainly wasn’t the case. While the Luke Harper-Dolph Ziggler match was very good, everything else wasn’t anything special that you’d look back on and want to watch again. Apparently, part of the reason for that was Superstars “mailing it in” as a silent protest, according to former WWE backstage worker MetsFan4Ever.
"According to him, many people in the company are dissatisfied with how the show came off following the successful TakeOver: R Evolution and are hopeful this will lead to creative changes with WWE’s mainline product.“While many knew it would be tough to top the NXT show, there were people who thought it could be pulled off,” he wrote. “There have been rumblings that some talent knew they couldn’t top NXT so in a silent protest in favor of Triple H, some superstars were described “mailing in” their matches last night. Many are in favor of Triple H and what he has done with the NXT product and feel it is time for Triple H to take the lead on the main roster.”MetsFan4Ever added that locker room leader John Cena hosted a talent meeting this afternoon that was described as “forceful yet calm.” Cena stressed that a silent protest will not help matters. Instead, Cena feels they should step up their performance in order for their point to be proven."

Pulling a silent protest is kind of pathetic. If the Superstars really wanted to make a statement, they should have gone out there and put on their best performance. Instead, they made themselves look even worse in the process, compared to the NXT stars.
The performance of the main roster will be something to continue to monitor over the next six weeks until Royal Rumble. Hopefully they put their all into the matches that they’re put into; that’s a statement that shouldn’t need to be said.
