Seth Rollins vs. Ryback
This match never even started.
With Rollins already in the ring, Ryback came out for his entrance, but didn’t leave the stage before Rusev attacked him from behind. Rusev delivered two superkicks, one knocking him off the stage, the other knocking Ryback over some technical gear and into the backstage area.
Was this the first time we’ve seen Rusev act like a true heel, as far as physical actions go?
Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler promo
Rollins got on the mic and said that this is what he means when he says WWE is turning into a madhouse without The Authority. He talked about all he did in his two matches with John Cena the past two nights, and how he was orchestrated Brock Lesnar’s attacks on Chris Jericho and Cena on Raw. He decided that he deserved a night off.
As Rollins was making his exit, Ziggler came out and challenged him to a match. Rollins wondered what Ziggler’s done later, and Ziggler mentioned that he beat Rollins to put The Authority out of power a month ago, and he won the Intercontinental Championship two nights ago.
Rollins still wasn’t interested, until Ziggler accused him of being scared, which goaded Rollins into accepting the match.
Awesome segment. The crowd is with Ziggler, and this set up a big potential win for him.
