Last night of the WWE Network, Triple H appeared on a live edition of the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast. HHH discussed a variety of topics over the hour-plus that this lasted.
Probably the most sensitive topic of the interview was when Steve Austin asked Triple H why former WWE Diva Chyna is not in the Hall of Fame. This immediately got The Game flustered because of the answer he knew he was about to give. He said that while she made a terrific impact, her current job is what is keeping her out.
To be clear here, the problem isn’t if Chyna made enough of an impact on the wrestling business because she did. The problem is that she has been an adult film star for several years since leaving WWE. When Triple H indirectly noted this, he said that he didn’t want an 8-year-old to Google her and see what comes up.
As expected, Chyna had a response to this topic.
I suspect that Chyna will get into the WWE Hall of Fame one day. We’ve seen plenty of past stars mend their fences with WWE like Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, and Ultimate Warrior.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see WWE come around on letting Chyna into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, saying that she could get in “one day” could be a very long time based on what Triple H said. As long as the Ninth Wonder of the World is an adult film star, she likely will not be included in it.
