NXT TakeOver: Rival has arrived, which means it’s time for the WWE main roster to be outdone once again.
It was a little less than a year ago that NXT Arrival shocked the world with how good it was. Nobody was going to be shocked tonight, in fact, the bar had been raised to a seemingly impossibly high-level. The best part about NXT, though, is that nobody thought their incredibly talented roster couldn’t top what they’ve done in the past.
Kevin Owens challenged Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship, Finn Balor and Adrian Neville fought it out for the #1 Contender’s spot, and Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch aimed to prove that women can steal the show too.
