Rumors are circulating, according to Wrestling Inc. that WWE Superstar Sheamus is backstage for this evening’s Monday Night Raw. It should be noted that he was backstage a few weeks ago, but was not used.
We have not seen The Celtic Warrior on WWE programming since he was taken out in story line by Mark Henry. This occurred on the go-home Monday Night Raw before November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. He was scheduled to be part of Team Cena at the show in their attempt to take down The Authority. There was also no confirmation on the extent of his injury.
The role of Sheamus for WrestleMania season is unknown. The speculation has been that he’ll go into a feud with Daniel Bryan, enter into the André the Giant Battle Royal or be involved in the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at the show of shows.
This is not confirmed yet, but it seems likely that Sheamus would be brought in tonight. With four weeks to go until WrestleMania 31, now would be a good time for him to appear.
How do you feel Sheamus will be used when he returns to action?
