Roman Reigns vs. Big Show
Reigns got a decent pop from the crowd. I can’t say I heard many boos for him. This also seemed like a kid-friendly crowd, which could contribute to that.
The announcers tried making Big Show sound as good as Andre the Giant. While Show has had a great career, you can’t really compare them.
Show began the match by dominating Reigns. Punches, slaps and getting tossed out of the ring highlighted the beginning. Reigns would end up fighting back by throwing the World’s Largest Athlete into the pole. They would battle more outside the ring as we went to break.
Show continued his beating of Reigns, who could not get a comeback in.
Reigns eventually got in some punches to finally get Show down. That followed up with multiple Superman Punches and a powerful Spear.
Roman Reigns defeats Big Show via pinfall.
2.7 out of 5 stars – A very physical match that saw Show dominate. I didn’t love the way Reigns was booked, as he only got in his signature moves. But that seems what WWE is continuing to do.
Kane Backstage
We see Kane backstage getting surrounded by multiple heel Divas. They asked for Kane to give Divas other than Naomi a chance for the Divas Championship. Cameron asked for a #1 contender’s match for the Diva’s Championship next week and Kane accepts.
