WWE Forgot to Give Divas a Chance
By Yair Galaviz
The lack of focus on the Divas Division has led to a roster with no babyfaces.

Back in February, the hashtag #Givedivasachance made headlines across the wrestling world. The female wrestlers were not given enough time to showcase their talent and the story lines were non-existent.
Other than the terrible idea of jealousy being the only source for female story lines on WWE TV, the female talent had short matches that meant nothing.
Its been 2 months since then and while the WWE has given more time to the female talent on the ring, they are still not giving them a second thought.
Have you asked yourself who are the WWE Divas faces? Let’s go over the roster:
- Alicia Fox – Heel
- Brie Bella – Heel
- Nikki Bella – Heel
- Cameron – Heel
- Emma – Face on WWE TV/Heelish on NXT
- Eva Marie – Heel (Can’t Wrestle)
- Lana – Heel (doesn’t wrestle)
- Natalya – Heel
- Naomi – Heel
- Layla – Face?
- Paige – Face (Out filming a movie)
- Summer Rae – Heel
- Rosa Mendes – Heel
- Tamina – Heel
This list tells you that they don’t take a second to think about the female talent. Yes, AJ Lee left the company with little notice, but that wouldn’t have made a difference. If you have a Divas division made of heels that are all about jealousy, bitching, and backstabbing. Then you are just making a disservice to your roster, female fans, and women everywhere.
The WWE has a huge problem in their hands and they need to solve it as soon as possible. Turning the Bella twins face is not the solution. That is the lazy way out and will lead to the Divas division continue to be the joke it is today.
The solution would be to give Emma the push as a face she needs. Just get rid of the comedy gimmick. Bring up Charlotte either at Extreme rules or the next night at Raw and push her like they did with Paige. Put her in the Divas Title picture as soon as possible.
Bring up Sasha Banks as a face sooner than later. Even if she is brilliant as a heel, make her come up as Charlotte’s friend a few weeks later to help with the Bella Twins.
By doing this, you have Charlotte with (or without) Sasha feuding with the Bellas. You have Emma feuding with Naomi. When Paige returns in 2 months, you continue her feud with Naomi. But at least you have 4 strong faces.
While all this is happening, shake up the division to balance the faces and heels in your roster. They made a mistake with Summer Rae last night by turning her after only a few days. Again, they sacrificed the Divas just to move forward a storyline about men.
By the time the Royal Rumble hits, turn Sasha Heel and move to her program with Charlotte for WrestleMania.
The WWE needs to move on this quickly or else the attention the Division has gotten thanks to NXT will soon be forgotten and ignored by the fans like it has been done in the past.
