Opening Video

We see a video from Sami Zayn’s match last week against John Cena when the former NXT Champion hurt his shoulder.

Solomon Crowe vs. Baron Corbin

Result: Baron Corbin defeats Solomon Crowe via pinfall.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Baron Corbin showed a lot of aggression right off the bat. He stood on Crowe’s head and smashed him like someone his size should be doing.

Crowe would eventually get some offense in to make the former NFL player look vulnerable, but the Corbin would hit End of Days out of nowhere for the win.

Rhyno comes out after the match and starts brawling with Corbin. The locker room would come out almost immediately to break these two up.

Rob’s note: Corbin’s heel aggression was great to see. Someone of his size should be displaying this kind of power more often. As for Crowe, he really needs something to do after NXT TakeOver. His character has done nothing of significance since debuting.

Finn Balor Interview

Balor is asked who he’d rather face between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship and makes a case for both. He says “the demon of Finn Balor won’t be far behind.”
