WWE SmackDown Review: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose

They play a video recap of the Rusev/Lana/Ziggler segments of RAW on Monday. The slap Lana gives Rusev is really impressive and looked painful.

Dolph Ziggler Interview

Ziggler is backstage with Renee Young. Ziggler says this week is the week that keeps on giving, between getting a kiss from Lana, stitches from his match with Sheamus on Sunday, and being in the Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber. He says he’s had plenty of women use him to make ex-boyfriends jealous, but he’s never had to be locked in a cage with one. Especially one like Rusev. Lana comes by and says she will be watching and wishes Ziggler good luck.

Dolph Ziggler vs King Barrett

Result: Ziggler def. Barrett by pinfall (Zigzag)

King Barrett is in control to start with some stellar mat wrestling. Ziggler mounts a small comeback and drops some elbows. Jerry Lawler makes a comment about how those don’t do you any good, making light of his heart attack three years ago that happened after taking some of those elbows from Dolph. Ziggler gets caught with Wasteland for a two count. Barrett beats Dolph around ringside then sets up for the Bullhammer and gets Superkicked. Barrett tries again, but Dolph dodges and catches him with the Zigzag for the 1-2-3.

After the match, Lana appears on the ramp and applauds Dolph. A solid match that furthers both the Elimination Chamber match and the Rusev/Lana/Ziggler angle.
