Chris Jericho vs. John Cena

Result: Chris Jericho defeats John Cena via pinfall.

Rating: 2.8 out of 5 stars

This match was made after Cena slapped Jericho earlier during SmackDown.

  • Jericho began with a few hard elbows to Cena, who retaliated with a few right hands.
  • Cena would hit a big spinebuster for a near-fall, causing Jericho to run away. Cena chased him and got clotheslined.
  • Inside the ring we see Jericho in control of Cena. The future Mr. HLR came back with a big dropkick, clothesline and shoulder tackle.
  • After getting a sunset flip, Cena nearly had the pin. Jericho came back with a few moves before being planted with a huge DDT.
  • Jericho went for a lionsault but missed. Cena hit a move of his own and went for a schoolboy but missed the fall.
  • Jericho hit the Flashback and used the ropes for leverage to get the pin on Cena.
  • After the match, Jericho went to shake his hand but clobbered him with an elbow. Cena responded with a slam to send Y2J rolling away.
