We see Rollins getting interviewed by JoJo. Rollins says this is legitimate with two caveats. The opponent has to be 6-feet tall and under 200 pounds.

At first El Torito’s music plays but then Neville’s does. He comes out to face Rollins.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Neville

Result: Seth Rollins defeats Neville via pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Rollins and Neville locked up immediately. Neville hit a kick and got a near-fall.

Rollins would take control and start stomping on the former NXT Champion. Neville answered with a hit and a hurricanrana. He dove onto the WWE WHC outside the ring. He went for Red Arrow but Rollins rolled out of the way. Neville would hit a corkscrew off the top rope as we went to break.

We come back to see Rollins in control with a hold. He then threw Neville off the ropes and got a near-fall.

Neville answered back with some kicks until Rollins took him down for another near-fall.

Rollins went to the top rope and jumped but got kicked in the gut. Neville hit a frankensteiner for a near-fall.

Neville would hit a German Suplex and hit a belly-to-back one for a near-fall. Neville would jump off the top rope but get clotheslined by Rollins.

After Rollins nearly hit a Pedigree, Neville rolled him up and missed the pin by a millisecond.

Rollins would get pulled off the top rope by Neville. He then connected for Red Arrow! However, Rollins got his foot on the ropes at 2.

Neville went back up to the top rope for Red Arrow but Rollins rolled out of the way. He hit Pedigree for the win.

Rob’s Note: What an opening match. That was dramatic, fun and showed some great wrestling. Rollins retained but Neville challenging for the company title is huge. Great stuff overall.
