WWE SummerSlam Loser: Cesaro

Despite the terrific work he has put in for the past few months, Cesaro may be on a down slope following SummerSlam.

Cesaro and Kevin Owens put on an excellent match that preceded Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker. They displayed their great skills that we’ve seen throughout their time in WWE and Ring of Honor.

In the end, Cesaro took the hard-fought loss to Owens.

With the former NXT Champion now trending up, Cesaro’s direction remains to be seen. The feud between these two could continue to give him something to do but all signs seem to be this ending, for now.

Cesaro is too talented to not be in a relevant feud. He is arguably WWE’s best wrestler and can put on a classic bout any time he steps into a ring. WWE is clearly seeing this now along with how well fans are reacting to him and they’re taking advantage of his use.

So what could Cesaro do next? Does he move into a feud for a mid-card belt like the WWE Intercontinental Championship? Does he join in on another feud?
