Nikki Bella was supposed to defend her WWE Divas Championship against Charlotte at WWE Night of Champions. However, a few weeks ago on Raw, Charlotte got a request granted to have the match pushed up. This allowed her to get a chance at Nikki’s title before the pay-per-view.
So these two women face off tonight. If Nikki won, she would become the longest reigning Divas Champion by midnight. Would she be able to pull it off?

Here’s what happened:
Things started off slow until Charlotte got Nikki into a hold and slammed her down. Charlotte then threw Nikki with her legs and hit a shoulder in the corner. Nikki then started working on the left arm of Charlotte and got a near-fall. She then slammed Charlotte’s arm on the rope twice.
The two then began battling on the apron until Nikki yanked Charlotte by her left arm to the floor.
We come back to see Nikki in control of Charlotte. She continued to work on the injured left arm with an armbar. Charlotte would work back by picking up Nikki and throwing her down.
Charlotte would hit multiple chops on Nikki and a big boot for a near-fall. Nikki then threw multiple elbows and a dropkick to the injured arm. Nikki would slam Charlotte’s face into her knee for the near-fall.
Nikki would go for the Alabama slam but Charlotte countered and hit a spear. Alicia Fox then caused a distraction and Brie Bella tried twin magic. However, Charlotte rolled her up for the pin.
Stephanie McMahon then came out and said Charlotte’s win is invalid.
Wow.
