WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze Rips the “Divas Revolution”
WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze had some harsh words for Paige and the Divas Revolution.

The stagnant “Divas Revolution” got a mighty kick in the butt last week when Paige dropped her “pipe bomb” on the division, ripping newly-crowned champion Charlotte. It was a moment that was sorely needed, but not everyone was happy about it. WWE Hall of Famer and true wrestling legend, Alundra Blayze aka Madusa Miceli, wasn’t pleased about Nikki Bella’s dismissive reaction to a fan that chanted out her name. Blayze hit Instagram and posted an unfocused social media tirade in which she alternately tears into and praises elements of the WWE Divas Division while claiming she was the one who really started the “Revolution”. Uh, okay.
"“#Justmyopinion I believe at about half way through this promo, (which was a bad ass promo) the moment and #mood miss @thenikkibella was in, she heard my name being yelled from the audience on #wwe #mondaynightraw and threw up her hand, as I threw up in my mouth to just ignore the fact the forever existence of #AlundraBlayze IS the REAL REVOLUTIONARY That started this #revolution #willneverevergoaway”"
Granted, Miceli had perhaps the most seminal moment in women’s wrestling history, and frankly one of the most unforgettable moments in all of wrestling, when she showed up unexpectedly on a WCW Monday Nitro show in 1995 and threw the WWF Women’s Title in the trash. But it’s a stretch to say she started the current WWE revolution. It’s more accurate to say the current revolution is shedding the trappings of the past, which includes Miceli.
So what was this? Was it a way for Miceli to put herself over while the Divas are so red-hot? Or is this a worked angle that could see Miceli re-introduced into current WWE storylines? There’s evidence of the latter in her comments which attack Paige but compliment the babyface superstars like Natalya, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch.
"“Not to mention #pipebomb #you’renotAJ @realpaigewwe calling the @wwenxt championship “The” women’s championship….. Meh! Well let’s just call it like I see it…. Most of you are over rated! Half of you cannot wrestle, some just sound illiterate as soon as you open your pie hole, all so disrespectful . If I were you all I would be watching your back! You never know who @natbynature might show up with just to bitch slap a few across the face for a receipt! Oh and where in the hell is #teambad #tobusywithglowsticks and things that #glowinthedark as far as I am concerned @charlottewwe and @wwebeckylynch have it going on at the moment !”"
Miceli has generally had good things to say about the WWE’s roster of Divas so all of this is coming out of nowhere. Maybe Miceli thinks she has something left to offer in the squared circle? She recently appeared alongside Ivory and Molly Holly on WWE Network’s Table for 3 series where they chatted about their glorious careers. Could it be those careers aren’t as over as we thought? The Divas Revolution could use a bit of veteran influence.
