How will the go-home show of WWE NXT for NXT TakeOver: Respect play out?

More from NXT

Lots of action in WWE NXT tonight as we prepare for TakeOver: Respect next Wednesday on the WWE Network. The show will have a women’s match in the main event for the first time, as Women’s Champion Bayley faces Sasha Banks in an Iron Man match for the title. Will “The Boss” have a statement for the champ tonight?

There are still some spots on the card to fill out with the TakeOver special only a week away. Will Asuka get her first match in NXT on the card? Will Bull Dempsey find a match for next week? Will there be another tag team match added to next week’s card? Tonight will give us the answer.

Finally, the last quarter-final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic goes tonight with probably the four realest guys in the room. Enzo and Big Cass take on the team of Samoa Joe and NXT Champion Finn Balor to see who advances to TakeOver as a part of the tournament.

Find out who advances and much more on this week’s episode of WWE NXT!

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Update

This week’s NXT begins with an update from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic from Kyle Edwards. He calls it an inaugural trophy, meaning that it will be a yearly thing. We’ll have to see if it continues in the future.

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable were able to beat the Hype Bros to make it to TakeOver against Baron Corbin and Rhyno. I guess Rawley and Ryder were just not ready, willing, or Gable.

Dash and Dawson will square off against the winner of Enzo & Big Cass vs Finn Balor & Samoa Joe. That match is up first!
