With Demon Kane potentially facing World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell for the WWE World Heavyweight title, which other current superstars are most deserving to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?

More from WWE

Since Seth Rollins retained the WWE World Heavyweight Champions at Night of Champions versus former WCW icon Sting, Rollins has been in a heated rivalry with current Authority mate Corporate Kane/Demon Kane. With this current one-sided rivalry potentially setting up a WWE World title match at the Hell in a Cell pay per view at the end of October, Rollins will be putting up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship up against another aging WWE Superstar.

During his title defense, Rollins has retained the title against some worthy opponents, which includes the likes of Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. But which three WWE Superstars deserve a legitimate shot at Seth Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?

Daniel Bryan

Former Intercontinental champion and WWE World Heavyweight champion has been a well deserving champion, but has been prone to injury after winning those two titles. Now I know it goes without question why Daniel Bryan deserves a shot at Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight title, if and when he’s healthy. When he is healthy, he is the most polarizing superstar in and outside of the ring.

When Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 30, against Batista and Randy Orton, the win solidified him as one of the best superstars in WWE history, (not to mention he had one of the biggest upsets in WrestleMania history when he beat Triple H to even qualify for the triple threat match). But without being able to defend the title, while recovering from neck surgery, Bryan was stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins former Shield brother Roman Reigns was on the verge of beating Brock Lesnar during the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, until Rollins cashed in his money in the back briefcase, pinning Reigns and becoming the current WWE World Heavyweight champion.

Since winning the Royal Rumble in January, Reigns has proved himself by having a strong showing against Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. But since losing to Rollins at WrestleMania, Reigns has proved himself by beating the Big Show in a last man standing match at Extreme Rules, in late April, and having a successful feud with Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt family.

With all that said, Reigns has not had a one on one title match with Rollins, he has been in a fatal four way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but never a one on one match. Reigns has proved himself strong against his former Shield brother, and if given the opportunity, Reigns would not shy away from a fight from the Authority and Rollins.

Dolph Ziggler

I know, I know, if any superstar deserves a one on one title match it would be the Brock Lesnar, but if any superstar has proved himself in the past year to have a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship it should be Dolph Ziggler. Sure, I know Ziggler has not been in the storyline he should be in to prove himself worthy of a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

As of late, Ziggler has been in a love square, soap opera esque drama with Rusev, Lana, and Summer Rae, but last we forget the showing Ziggler had at last year’s Survivor Series. Being the last member of Team Cena, Ziggler eliminated both Kane and Luke Harper, and finally eliminating the current champ, Rollins, to put the Authority out of power.

Whether Bryan, Reigns, or Ziggler get a shot at WWE World Heavyweight, at the end of the day, the Authority always win. If you think another superstar deserves at shot at WWE World Heavyweight title, please let us know below.
