Tonight at NXT TakeOver: Respect, Finn Balor will be partnering with Samoa Joe as they take on Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classin semifinals. The winner will face either Rhyno and Baron Corbin or Jason Jordan and Chad Gable.
There has been plenty of speculation that Balor and Joe will feud after this live special since there is no ongoing NXT Championship program. Many have thought Joe would be the one to turn on Balor at TakeOver: Respect tonight but as we look closer at it, it seems the NXT Champion may be the one to become a heel.

On last week’s episode of WWE NXT, Balor debuted a new intro to his entrance that can be seen on the WWE Network (or in a video from NXT Louisville below). It had an edgier, “heelish” theme to it. Along with that, Balor has come out in a black jacket. This could be mean something or nothing but given that this is NXT, we have to take any little hint into account.
If Balor turns heel, fans have called for a “Balor Club” to be created. WWE trademarked and put out shirts on WWEShop.com that say “Balor Club” on them. Once they were released, fans immediately speculated and began to fantasy book this stable. All different NXT names were thrown around but who makes the most sense in the potentially new group?
