WWE NXT: Spoilers for Oct. 14 to Oct. 28

– The dark match featured Hugo Knox defeating Alexander Wolfe.
– Bayley came out for a promo but Alexa Bliss interrupted her.

– The Vaudevillains defeated Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton. The finish was apparently re-taped.
– Nia Jax debuted and defeated an unknown wrestler.

– The No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal is next. Apollo Crews wins to become the new No. 1 Contender for the NXT Championship.

It looks like Alexa will be going after Bayley’s NXT Women’s Championship during this set of tapings. She probably won’t be the contender for NXT London (which is still two months away) but it will be interesting to see what happens from here.

The big takeaway from this is that Crews is now the No. 1 Contender for Finn Balor’s NXT Championship, guaranteeing they’ll have a match at some point. Based on what we’ve seen from both men, they should put on a classic if given decent minutes in the ring.

Don’t expect this to be the end of a Joe vs. Balor program, though. It wouldn’t be surprised to see them involved at NXT London.
