It’s a complete understatement to say that NXT TakeOver: Respect was two hours (give or take a few minutes) was another stellar NXT production. Here’s five takeaways from one of the biggest rematches in WWE history.
You can consider me the Paul Heyman of women’s wrestling. (Well, at least for this site.) I’m not the only one who appreciate the women who have pushed the “Divas Revolution” here, but the importance of who they are and what they stand for, should be brought to the light more than it already has.

NXT provides the finest wrestling product on the planet, and to say that another NXT TakeOver event was special, would be a slap in the face to all who participated in the event.
It was an incredible event that was fast-paced as usual and didn’t lack talent and excitement. The gem of the night was the groundbreaking main event between NXT Women’s Champion Bayley and former champion Sasha Banks.
The first meeting between Bayley and Sasha Banks is still being talked about to this day, even after Wednesday night’s classic. The rematch had plenty of hype. (Trust me, I pushed it harder than Brock Lesnar in 2002.) A 30-Minute Iron(wo)man match for the NXT Women’s title in the main event of a WWE-produced event? Of course the hype would be gigantic.
