WWE Raw Review: Results, Analysis and Grades

Kane Backstage

We see Kane on the phone with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. They tell Kane he will be running Raw tonight. Kane tells a stage manager to inform Seth Rollins that he will be in a lumberjack match against him.

Dean Ambrose Promo

Ambrose says he has some good news: The Authority is “running late” tonight. He says he won’t bore everyone with a long promo and is looking for a fight. Randy Orton then comes out.

Orton says he loves Chicago. He talks about fighting the Wyatts last week on SmackDown. He announces that he’ll be partnering with Ambrose against Braun Strowman and Luke Harper.

Ambrose says he’s been fighting the Wyatts for years. Orton says he thinks he can see eye to eye with Ambrose for this match. Orton says Ambrose should be following his lead. Ambrose says he can’t trust Orton, who says he can’t trust himself.

New Day then comes out. Xavier Woods says even though New Day stood tall last week, all Orton and Ambrose can do is talk about the Wyatts. They start talking about taking out Dolph Ziggler, the Dudley Boyz and John Cena. Kofi Kingston says New Day accomplished a lot in one night.

New Day starts bringing up old groups Orton and Ambrose have been in and says they weren’t as good as them.

Kane then appears on the screen and puts New Day in a match with Orton and Ambrose right now.
