WrestleMania 32 Promotion

Raw on Oct. 19 will be held in Dallas, Texas. It’s no coincidence that WrestleMania 32 will be held in less than 6 months from AT&T Stadium in Dallas as well. Throw in Steve Austin being from Texas and things here make too much sense.

  • The middle of the fall is around the time WrestleMania matches start getting hinted at. We had this happen at WWE Survivor Series 2014 when Sting made his WWE debut to set up a match with Triple H at WrestleMania 31. So since this episode of Raw is emanating from the show of show’s host city, why not start the promotion for the event now?

Austin could come out and announce himself as the host of WrestleMania 32. It’s unlikely he’s going to wrestle at the event and not seeing him involved in some capacity would be flabbergasting. A host role would be logical and lets him be the unofficial face of WrestleMania. It’s a great selling point for fans who may not have watched WWE since he was around or to draw in some who have tuned out over the past few months.

Beginning the WrestleMania 32 build with Austin at the forefront on Raw this Monday would be big and a smart move on WWE’s part. It’s just a matter of if they would start the set up on Oct. 19.
