A Tyler Breeze promo is aired where he calls out Samoa Joe. Breeze says if he can’t be number one contender, than neither can Joe. Breeze says he’d be happy to slice some bacon off of Joe.
Dash & Dawson vs. Big Cass & Enzo Amore
Result: Enzo & Cass defeated Dash & Dawson via pinfall (Schoolboy).
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Enzo starts off against Dawson. Dash and Dawson use quick tags to focus on Enzo’s legs and keep him in their corner. Enzo gets caught in a dragon screw submission hold, and Big Cass comes in to break it up. When Dawson comes back to him, Enzo catches him in a small package for the victory.
After the match, Dash and Dawson take out Enzo and Big Cass. They hit their tag team finisher on Big Cass and stand over “The Realest Guys in the Room” to end the segment.
Evan’s Note: The NXT Tag division is so deep, and it’s good to see Dash and Dawson get some important exposure. They’re a great workhorse team that could be an important cog on the main roster one day.
A vignette on Rhyno is aired, talking about his history and his decision to come to NXT.
