The Finn Balor – Apollo Crews NXT Championship match is announced for two weeks time. A vignette on the history of Apollo Crews airs as well. He talks about growing up, being a first generation American, and growing up watching wrestling.

Alexa Bliss w/Blake & Murphy vs. Peyton Royce

Result: Bliss defeated Royce via pinfall (Sparkle Splash).

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Bliss and Royce trade control early, but Bliss gets the advantage and targets the left arm of Royce. Royce manages to fight back with a series of kicks, including two beautiful crescent kicks. After the second, Royce goes for the pin but gets only a two. Bliss gets the advantage back and hits the Sparkle Splash for the pinfall victory.

Bliss gets no the mic and talks about how Bayley has accomplished so much with so litttle. Bliss says she is what everyone strives to be, and that she was made to be NXT women’s champion.

Evan’s Note: I was one of many people who were hesitant when Bliss turned heel a while back, as she seemed to be such a good face. Her work as a heel is to be applauded though. She comes off as genuinely mean and spiteful towards Bayley, and having Blake and Murphy by her side makes it that much better.

Next week Samoa Joe will go one on one with Tyler Breeze. The main event is next.
