WWE Hell in a Cell 2015: Why Seth Rollins vs. Kane Feud Will Extend Past the Show
Kane and Seth Rollins’ feud may only be seen as a one-off match in the minds of fans at WWE Hell in a Cell, but here’s why it could extend until at least Survivor Series.

Fans moaned and groaned when Kane came out at the end of WWE Night of Champions to attack Seth Rollins and thwart Sheamus’ Money in the Bank cash-in attempt. A feud between the two Authority members should have been seen coming, though, after their teased tension that spanned from Apr. to July.
A few weeks later, Rollins vs. Kane for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell was created. The title match would usually headline a pay-per-view but since this match won’t take place inside the cell (Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker will main event), it will not close the show.

Rollins over Kane also seems like an easy prediction, doesn’t it? Not so fast.
For those who missed it, if Kane loses this match, he will no longer be Director of Operations. While fans may not like to hear this, if Kane does lose this match, he will have nothing to do going forward. WWE still values him as an upper-card babyface and while The Authority is a heel stable, the work he has done as a two-faced character has been successful. Taking the Demon out of there will leave him in limbo. Plus, he’s probably not going to win the title from Rollins, which won’t help his status.
This match will also probably be taking place in the middle of the show with two Hell in a Cell matches on the card. Could it get squeezed between the two? Possibly, but it won’t be a focal point and therefore isn’t guaranteed a conclusion.

Then, if Rollins defeats Kane, who’s next in line to challenge him? The argument could be made for Roman Reigns but his time may not come until WrestleMania season in a few months.
So what does this mean?
Expect Kane to defeat Rollins via disqualification and send this feud into WWE Survivor Series.
No one will want to hear that but given what was noted, it has every chance to carry into Nov. and headline the traditional PPV.
The dynamic between Rollins and Kane has always involved the Demon getting over. This is due to his size and dark gimmick overpowering the Architect. Rollins only gets one up on Kane on a distraction and when that does happen, he gets immediate payback. There’s every reason to think Rollins will have trouble with Kane based on this at Hell in a Cell and cause a DQ by using a weapon to get an edge.
The only way this doesn’t happen is if Sheamus cashes in on Rollins this Sunday after the latter defeats Kane. However, it makes no sense for Mr. Money in the Bank to interfere during a match in the middle of the show. It doesn’t fit WWE’s logic. They save these big moments for the end of the show.
The reality check here is WWE will likely extend this feud past Hell in a Cell whether we like it or not. Agree or disagree?
