What happened?

In a very short match, Nikki defeated Brie to put the title of personal assistant on her for 30 days.

Did this match have any implications after the PPV?

This feud was expected to put Brie over Nikki since she received a big push through the summer (notably being in a feud with Stephanie McMahon). However, WWE decided to realign the Bella Twins “outta nowhere” at WWE Survivor Series the next month. Brie would pull the “kiss of doom” card on AJ Lee, leading to Nikki winning the WWE Divas Championship in about 30 seconds. Nikki would go onto have the longest Divas title reign in WWE history before dropping the belt to Charlotte last month.

The Bella Twins are still paired up today as part of Team Bella, with Alicia Fox. There has been no indication of breaking up Brie and Nikki for a second time.
