Seth Rollins Drops the Title, Sets Up Roman Reigns vs. Another No. 1 Contender

This would be a scenario that no fan wants because Seth Rollins’ injury would have to be terrible. However, as the old saying goes, the show must go on.

Roman Reigns would certainly be involved in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship if Rollins had to drop it since he became the No. 1 Contender last week. He would need an opponent, though.

A way of determining his opponent could be through a match on Raw. Since Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose are developing a feud, they could be placed in a bout to decide who will face Reigns at Survivor Series. Owens would likely win this to set up a face vs. heel match.

Reigns would defeat Owens at Survivor Series to capture his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, after Ambrose comes out to celebrate with Reigns, he pulls a move that Owens did last year at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution and attacks his best friend. This sets up a compelling main event feud of Reigns vs. Ambrose through the winter.
