3. The Wyatt Family

Last Week: 1

The Wyatts took a hit this week with the reemergence of the Brothers of Destruction (who have somehow escaped soul-stealing captivity).

On SmackDown, the Wyatt Family made short work of the competition by sweeping a traditional Survivor Series match, but the tables turned for them on Raw. Despite having the numbers advantage when they surrounded Kane and the Undertaker, the Wyatts were eviscerated on all fronts. It was only a matter of time until the Brothers of Destruction exacted their revenge on the Wyatts, yet you would think the Wyatts would have put up more of a fight.

They’ll look to bounce back on next week’s go-home Raw before Survivor Series.

2. Roman Reigns

Last Week: T.3

The obvious favorite in the WWE Title tournament, Roman Reigns is once more on the fast track to becoming the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. His Raw confrontation with Triple H laid the cliché, against-all-odds-good-guy-faces-overwhelming-adversity trope on pretty thick, and just like that Roman is yet again on the verge of being shoved down everyone’s throat as the hero we can all root for.

It’s absolutely certain that Reigns will reach the finals in the tournament; so it’ll be interesting to see who is in the corner opposite of his. Since he’ll probably win that match and the belt, the greatest challenge Roman faces heading into Survivor Series is not becoming stale before his first stint as champion officially begins.
