5. Alberto Del Rio
Last Week: 4
Now a few weeks removed from his surprise return, Del Rio is beginning to lose some traction. And if the slide continues, he risks dragging the U.S. Title back down the depths from which John Cena spent so many months raising it up.
It’s fair to wait until Survivor Series to get a better sense of the trajectory for Del Rio’s run as the U.S. Champ, but—if the rumors are true—a potential match with Jack Swagger is a risky move: Let’s not forget that these two already had a match… for the World Heavyweight Championship… at WrestleMania 29. And it wasn’t anything special.
Optimistically, Del Rio’s persona is much different since then, as is Swagger’s; so maybe the two can producing something more captivating this time around.

4. Kevin Owens
Last Week: 5
Kevin Owens keeps on rolling, and considering that he’s set to face either King Barrett or Neville in the quarterfinals of the WWE Title tourney, another victory is in the cards.
Owens is in a bit of a conundrum, though, since he’s pretty much defeated everyone in his path. Since Owens is unlikely to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, hopefully there’ll be a more promising direction for him once his tournament days are behind him.
