SmackDown Opener

Rich Brennan starts the broadcast by reminding us about the sad news that Seth Rollins ruined his knee completely and had to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The three tournament matches for tonight are hyped, including Neville vs. Barrett, Stardust vs. Alberto Del Rio, and Kalisto vs. Ryback.

Wyatt Family Promo

Bray Wyatt and his brothers come to the ring to start the night. The Usos vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper is announced for tonight. Wyatt is greeted by chants of “Undertaker” from the British crowd. Harper says that they will sacrifice the Usos to honor Bray Wyatt. Rowan says they will bring pain to all those who confront them, and Strowman says he’ll destroy anyone in his path for Bray Wyatt. Your run of the mill compliments for the Eater of Worlds.

Wyatt says Kane and Undertaker may be back, but they will never be the same again. Bray issues a challenge to the Brothers of Destruction for Survivor Series, family versus family. The two of them versus any two of Bray’s family. Bray poses with his family to end the segment.

Braun Strowman w/Wyatt Family vs Fandango

Result: Strowman def. Fandango via submission (choke).

Rating: 2.0 out of 5 stars

Fandango never even stood a chance. In his SmackDown singles debut, Strowman manhandles Fandango, hitting a massive right hand to a leaping Fandango. Strowman locks in his chokehold and ends the match.

Evan’s Note: One day Strowman may be counted on to have matches that aren’t squashes. Luckily for him, that time is not going to be in the near future. Instead Strowman will continue to just dominate the lower-to-mid card wrestlers for the time being.
