With Survivor Series just on the horizon, it’s an appropriate time to look back at its amazing 29 year history, as one of WWE’s longest running Pay-Per-Views (PPVs). Starting in 1987, there have been plenty of great, and not-so-great, main events over the past couple decades. There has been everything from the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match, WWE Championship matches, Hell in a Cell, to even the very first, Elimination Chamber. So to celebrate history, let’s rank every single Survivor Series main event!

Although, this year’s main event is still yet to occur – due to Seth Rollins’ unfortunate injury – a tournament will be held to decide the next WWE Champion. Where that main event fits in this ranking, is still a mystery, but tournaments are awesome (fact!) so it shouldn’t be a surprise if it ends up in the upper half of this list, only time will tell.
