Bray Wyatt vs. Triple H
Wyatt vs. Triple H would be as fresh and as unique of a matchup as it gets.
These two men have had little to no interaction on WWE TV since Wyatt’s call up in 2013. Bray has gone into feuds with the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker and Chris Jericho while Trips has gone to war with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and other top babyfaces. Having Bray and The Game cross paths would make for an intriguing feud.
Since coming to the main roster, Wyatt and his family have been heels. It worked out well at first, but Wyatt’s run has gotten a bit stale with the lack of big wins. He lost to Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, to Roman Reigns at WWE Hell in a Cell and against to Undertaker and Kane at WWE Survivor Series earlier this month. It’s come to the point where Wyatt needs a change fast to gain momentum.
Triple H was supposed to face The Rock in Dallas. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely with the Hollywood A-lister having insurance issues from a movie he’s filming soon. Seth Rollins was also an option but he’s out 6-9 months with a torn up knee.
So this leaves two guys with nothing to do for WrestleMania. Why not put them head to head?
While Triple H is cutting a promo in the ring on the night after Royal Rumble, Wyatt could come out and argue he’s the face of fear in WWE. He could call out Triple H for trying to put fear in other people in WWE and want to put it to an end. This would turn Wyatt face for the first time and set up a program that we haven’t seen before.
A Triple H vs. Bray Wyatt feud is very unlikely and probably a stretch to predict. However, WWE is running out of options with legends either unable to wrestle or injuries mounting on the main roster. Maybe they give this a shot?
