WWE NXT Review: TakeOver: London Go-Home Show
By Evan Gomes
Final Thoughts
Samoa Joe has been booked strong, but Balor may still retain. Balor has been made to be the determined babyface who will take on all comers. Joe has had one of the best strong pushes since joining WWE NXT. A lot of similarity in the booking though, where he just chokes out Balor and makes him spittle a bit on himself.
5 matches is a lot to have in one hour, and some didn’t get the time they may have needed. If there was one less match, maybe the Bayley-Royce match being left off, it could have benefitted the overall quality of the show.
Corbin and Crews having a brawl was smart. It could lead to Balor feeling abandoned when he inevitably matches back up with Crews in the future. The match between Crews and the “Lone Wolf” could steal the show on Wednesday.
Finally, enjoy the vignette tonight for “The Drifter,” Elias Sampson above.
