5) Roman Reigns

Out of all the Superstars and Divas on this list, Roman Reigns needs to exceed expectations the most—more than WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus.

The former Georgia Tech football player is seen as the next face of WWE. They have had him in the WrestleMania 31 main event and put him in the finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament last month, winning the title. The time he receives on the microphone also exceeds most if not all WWE stars. This is despite subpar speaking skills.

Reigns is a reason why the main event is so unanticipated because he hasn’t done much to make this match feel special. While his matches have come along, his promos have hurt the build for Sunday. The “tater tots” segment was awful on many levels. He took a corny line given to him by Vince McMahon, got a chant from the crowd, and ran with it.

Not good.

For Reigns to quiet everyone at WWE TLC, he can’t get on the microphone for an extended promo talking about his journey to this match. That will do him nothing. He instead needs to avoid speaking and stand in the ring waiting for his opponent to come to the ring so he can get his sweet revenge. The badass approach is what got Reigns over during his time with The Shield. How often did he ever cut a promo when aligned with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins? Never.
