WWE Tag Team Championship TLC Match
New Day (c) vs. Dudley Boyz vs. The Usos

This year’s fatal 4-way for the WWE Tag Team Championship was a very good match. It got multiple teams involved and they all shined on the grandest stage. However, this was the second straight year WWE did a fatal 4-way for the titles. Doing it for a third straight year would be repetitive.

We’re about eight months past WrestleMania 31, though, and the tag team division has new life. This can be attributed to New Day being the best WWE Tag Team Champions the company has had in years and the return of The Dudley Boyz.

One match Bubba Ray and D-Von are known for is the tables, ladders and chairs match, better known as TLC. They put on multiple classic matches with Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz 15 years ago that set the bar for TLC bouts. Could the Dudleys have one more of these in them?

Bubba Ray and D-Von seem to be in better shape than ever. They’re doing a full-time schedule with WWE so they must be able to take on the rigors of multiple matches. A TLC match, even in PG WWE, is still rough and be like wrestling multiple times. So if they are able to do this, it would be a huge plus.

Add in New Day, who are very talented and The Usos, who haven’t wrestled together in months but are the best high-flying teams WWE has, and you have the potential for a classic bout. One of these from the tag team division is badly needed and putting these three together in TLC IV could steal the show at WrestleMania 32.
