Roman Reigns vs. Triple H

This is the biggest change to our WrestleMania 32 card predictions.

Tensions between Reigns and Triple H has been building since the opening segment of the Raw in London about five weeks ago. Roman declined The Game’s offer to be his “guy” and walked away.

Two weeks later, Triple H would look to side with Roman again after he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Survivor Series. However, he received a spear instead. This led to Sheamus cashing in and winning the title.

    • Then at WWE TLC, Reigns started going wild after losing to Sheamus. He beat down all the League of Nations members, leading to Triple H coming down to try to stop the madness. In response, Reigns would start beating down the WWE COO as well and destroy him around the ring. It culminated with Trips being put through an announce table and viciously speared to close the show.

    WWE wouldn’t be having these two interact like this for nothing, which means a WrestleMania 32 match seems likely.

    This scenario would feature Reigns winning the title from Sheamus at Royal Rumble. However, Triple H getting involved would mean him winning the Royal Rumble match.

    With there being no clear Royal Rumble favorite, why not set up Triple H to win the match and move onto headlining WrestleMania? This is the year to do it with so many people out of action. No one is going to buy most WWE stars are WrestleMania main-eventers and despite being a part-timer, he would be believable.
